MCP Servers

ProdE exposes two MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that bring your knowledge and project context directly into your coding agent. This means your agent can answer codebase questions, read requirements, and track progress — without you switching to another tool.

Codebase Understanding MCP

Gives your coding agent access to ProdE's Knowledge Layer — your indexed repositories, auto-generated documentation, and code symbols.

Use it for: codebase Q&A, cross-repo understanding, code search, symbol tracing, and documentation lookup.

Projects MCP

Gives your coding agent access to ProdE Projects — requirements, workstreams, documents, artefacts, bugs, and blockers.

Use it for: reading specs and acceptance criteria, updating dev status, filing bugs, and checking project progress — all from your editor.
